Business Consultant for the Flex Job Team – create job opportunities for citizens with reduced work capacity

Jobcenter Nordfyn is seeking an engaged business consultant for the Flexjob team. We are looking for a colleague who can see opportunities, create a match between citizens and companies, and contribute to more citizens obtaining or maintaining attachment to the labor market through flexible jobs.

The position is full-time with a start date of February 1, 2027.

About the job

As a business consultant in the Flexjob team, you will be a central player in the work of creating concrete job opportunities for citizens referred to flex jobs.

You will have a broad contact surface to both citizens, companies and colleagues and will have an important role in building bridges between the needs of companies and the resources of citizens. You must be able to see opportunities, think creatively and build trusting relationships that lead to concrete results.

We operate from a belief that everyone can contribute to the labor market when the right framework is in place. It requires a company-oriented effort, close collaboration and a focus on each individual citizen's possibilities.

Your responsibilities will include

• outreach to companies and establishment of new collaborations
• assessment of companies' needs and possibilities for employment in flex jobs
• establishment of flex jobs and follow-up on employment
• advising companies about the flex job scheme
• planning and establishment of internships, as well as close follow-up with both citizens and companies during the process
• collaboration with job advisers, companies and other partners
• taking on a significant administrative task with documentation, case follow-up and responses to inquiries from citizens and companies

About you

You are motivated to achieve results together with companies and citizens. You are relationship-driven, work independently and thrive in a daily life where you are often out of the office and in dialogue with workplaces.

At the same time, you are comfortable working in an area where questions and problems are often complex. You will meet many inquiries from both citizens and companies, which require you to understand rules, opportunities and individual circumstances and translate them into concrete solutions. Therefore, it is important that you can keep an overview, work structurally and thrive with there not always being a single answer.

If you have experience as a business consultant in the employment area or with business services, that is a good starting point for the position. If you also have knowledge of the flex job area, it is certainly an advantage.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Expected salary range is disclosed at the first interview. The final salary is determined based on your qualifications and previous experience and after concrete negotiation with the trade union.
