About the job

As a business consultant you will be an important part of the employer-focused effort in the Employment and Youth Center. You will work with companies and citizens across target groups and help them get closer to the labor market through paid hours, jobs, company internships or education.

The task is to see opportunities, create motivation and find the right match between citizen and company. You must therefore be proactive with the companies, curious about the citizen's resources and strong in the ongoing follow-up.

We focus on developing the effort and trying out new paths so that more citizens gain a foothold in the labor market. You will therefore have the opportunity to work concretely with both companies and citizens and at the same time contribute to developing our shared practice.

You will become part of a professional community where we help each other, share knowledge and work purposefully towards common results. Our common goal is to create sustainable solutions that bring the citizen closer to employment and self-sufficiency.

As a business consultant your tasks will include

• Serve companies based on their need for labor
• Be proactively outreach to find companies where citizens can take paid hours, jobs and/or company internships
• Motivate and involve the citizen in working with their own opportunities and goals
• Conduct close follow-up with citizens and companies
• Incorporate the citizen's perspective on their own opportunities
• Create the right match between citizen and company
• Work systematically with registrations in Fasit and VITAS
• Be available to citizens, companies and partners so questions and challenges are addressed quickly
• Prepare evaluations

Who are you

You are a passionate enthusiast, and you want to challenge conventional thinking and the way a business consultant works. You are also goal-oriented and good at structuring your work so that good ideas are brought to life, and you can produce written documentation. You must have your finger on the pulse in relation to developments in the labor market and the needs of companies.

You have experience as a business consultant and familiarity with employment legislation.

A driving license is required.

Department

The business initiative in Ringsted Municipality is part of Ringsted’s Activation and Recruitment Center - RAR. There are business consultants employed both in RAR and in the Employment and Youth Center. You will be part of the effort at Nørregade 100, which consists of 14 business consultants.
