Jobcenter Varde seeks 2 new employees; 1 authority adviser and 1 company consultant for the Integration Initiative

We are seeking an authority adviser and a company consultant for Integration, both 37 hours per week, from 1/1 2027.

Jobcenter Varde is in the middle of an exciting process, where the employment reform sets the direction for new approaches, including a strengthened company-facing effort, which we are in the process of translating into good professional practice. Do you want to join?

In both positions you will primarily work with citizens in the integration target group, both unemployed and self-supporting, and at Jobcenter Varde we have a strong focus on ordinary employment and paid hours.

Authority Adviser

As an adviser in integration you will become part of a team with 4 experienced and engaged advisers, where the main tasks are:

• Receiving new refugees
• Statutory job interviews and referral to/ follow-up on offers, including compulsory work
• Case journaling and documentation in the cases, including description of work capacity
• Responsible for your own case load, including meeting deadlines
• Repatriation

Company Consultant

As a company consultant, collaboration with companies and job development is a core task.

You will become part of a strong team with 2 colleagues who work with the company-oriented effort, and your main tasks will be:

• Company-oriented efforts for citizens in the integration target group, including citizens subject to compulsory work
• Responsible for your own case load, including meeting deadlines
• Job development and company collaboration
• Creation of CVs / CV interviews with newly arrived refugees
• Development of citizens' work capacity and description thereof

In the Job Centre we are about 120 employees distributed across 6 departments. As an employee in the Department for Youth and Integration you will work together with 23 colleagues. Our main target groups are citizens in the Integration Target Group, youth receiving cash benefits and youths in the Ungeløftet target group.

We can offer you good interaction with experienced and committed colleagues who focus on cross-functional collaboration and integrated effort. We work from a common core task.

About you

• You have experience as an authority adviser or company consultant, preferably from the integration initiative/mandatory work
• Your background is social worker
• You see the value in paid hours as a difference for the citizen
• You work in a supportive and motivational manner
• You can engage in dialogue with the citizen and develop concrete plans together with the citizen, other relevant partners or companies.
• You have good collaboration skills and master cross-disciplinary dialogue and cooperation, both internally and externally

The core task at Jobcenter Varde is to ensure the municipality's companies have qualified labor and to help people as best as possible – regardless of age and functional level – to become self-supporting based on the value that this provides quality of life. In very special cases this may not be possible, and then the task, as far as possible, is to ensure the individual person an economic foundation.

Salary according to the applicable collective agreement.
