Job Brokers for Flere Skal Med

Business and Employment in Thisted Municipality are seeking job mediators for our new initiative Flere Skal Med for adults over 30 on the welfare benefit scheme, who need hands-on and persistent support to gain a foothold in the labor market.

We are looking for you who believe that there is a place in the labor market for many more – even when the road there is not straight. You must be able to build a strong relationship with the individual while constantly keeping the course toward work.

In Flere Skal Med we work job-focused from the start. Together with the citizen we explore desires, resources and possibilities and translate them into concrete actions.

The central question is always: What is the next step that brings the citizen closer to the labor market?

As a job mediator you will be a consistent presence in the citizen’s process. You create direction, momentum and coherence and closely follow up when there is a need to adjust the course.

How we work

Our approach in Flere Skal Med builds on the experiences from previous projects and other efforts, where close contact, job focus and perseverance are decisive.

You work with the citizen to find a realistic path to work and translate conversations and plans into concrete actions. You are proactive with regard to workplaces, create job matches and work purposefully toward ordinary paid hours – even when the road starts with only a few hours.

When the citizen enters a workplace, the work continues. You follow up, support the relationship between citizen and workplace and have an eye for progression and next steps. If something stalls, you pause and are curious about what needs to be done differently.

We work together for common citizens

Although you become a consistent person in the process, you do not solve the task alone.

With us we work from the premise that the citizen is our shared citizen. We use each other’s professionalities, share knowledge and help each other find new opportunities when needed.

For us, collaboration is not about who owns the task, but about how we together create the best movement for the citizen.

A workday close to people and the labor market

You must thrive in a workday that does not only take place behind a desk.

One day you meet with a citizen to discuss desires and possibilities. The next day you may accompany them to a workplace to explore concrete job opportunities or follow up on the first paid hours.

How the recruitment process works

We would like to experience a little more than what can be stated in an application.

Therefore the first interview starts with a short pitch, where you will have the opportunity to briefly introduce yourself and tell what you can contribute in the job.

After the first round of interviews we will select the candidates who proceed to a second interview, where we go more in depth with your approach to work and collaboration with citizens, colleagues and companies.

Salary and terms of employment

The positions are usually 37 hours per week with start as soon as possible or no later than 1 January 2027.

Salary and terms of employment are determined in accordance with the applicable HK or DS collective agreement and the principles of local pay formation.

A valid driver's license is required.
