Building Consultant for Our Power Grid

Would you like to take the responsibility as new buildings take shape, and at the same time set the direction for maintenance of our existing building stock? Then you have the opportunity to put your construction expertise to use in a role with great autonomy and variation Be involved in shaping the framework for the future power grid At Vores Elnet we are facing a comprehensive expansion and reinvestment in the distribution network in line with the green transition. With development comes both new construction and increasing requirements for the building stock we already have.

As Building Responsible you will influence both. You create an overview of the existing building stock and translate it into plans for operation and maintenance of buildings, utilities and the surrounding areas. On new constructions you contribute to specification requirements and tender materials, collaborate with suppliers and supervise the construction from start to finish.

You will have a varied everyday life with a large degree of independent responsibility, where you have great freedom to plan and carry out your tasks. At the same time you are responsible for ensuring tasks are completed on time and within the financial framework.

Your responsibilities include

• Prepare and follow up on operation and maintenance plans for the existing building stock and utilities (water, heating, sanitation, sewer, electricity)
• Prepare tender materials and specifications for new buildings
• Supervise the construction of new buildings
• Plan and supervise maintenance of areas around stations and overhead lines
• Manage dialogue with suppliers in connection with tenders and develop cooperation agreements with executing companies in collaboration with Procurement & Logistics
• Work with land registration of Vores Elnet's assets

Are you our new employee?

We imagine you are educated as a building technician, engineer, building constructor or have another relevant construction background. You have at least three years of relevant experience and may come from a consulting company or a similar construction-related role. Industry knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement.

As a person you work structured and analytical. You naturally take responsibility for your tasks and see them through with a view to both progress and high quality. At the same time you are happy to step forward, take initiative and set direction when needed. You naturally collaborate with different professional backgrounds and manage to build good relations with colleagues and external suppliers.

We imagine that you

• Have a relevant construction-related background
• Have a minimum of three years of relevant experience within construction, operation or maintenance
• Have experience with or understanding of tenders, specifications and collaboration with external suppliers
• Have knowledge of Office suite and AutoCAD

A strong team around you: You will become part of our operations department, where we work every day to ensure a stable and reliable electricity supply. We monitor, operate and maintain the power grid as well as the building stock in Vores Elnet's area.
