Building Construction Engineer / Project Manager for Building Operations and Service

Facilities Management and -Service is seeking as soon as possible a Building Constructor/Project Manager for construction projects at OUH. The tasks are carried out in close cooperation with internal colleagues and the Building Department in the Region of Southern Denmark.

The building constructor/project manager reports directly to the department head and handles the following tasks; project management and advising customers/users, coordination of operations and maintenance tasks related to construction and civil engineering matters, provision of quality assurance materials and official approvals, etc.

Tasks

• We are looking for a committed and technically curious colleague for construction projects.
• We expect that you have interest in, and experience with technically complex construction projects, such as installation of scanners, furnishing laboratories of various kinds and other technically challenging projects.
• You will be involved from the idea is born, to the project is handed over to operations. On larger projects an external adviser may be attached, who will be responsible for design, construction management and supervision of the execution.
• We have the goal that at some point we can perform professional supervision and construction site management. That is, in these situations, we only use external advisers until contracting.
• Some involvement in the New OUH project is to be expected.

It is expected that you have

• A education as a building constructor or similar technical education.
• Several years of experience with similar tasks.
• Ability and willingness to solve “many” simultaneous tasks and see them through to completion.
• Good teamwork skills - both towards colleagues and other collaborators.

About Building Maintenance and -Service

BDS is one of OUH’s service departments. We ensure a cohesive and professional operation that supports the hospital's core mission.

The department comprises a wide range of disciplines, including craftsmen, technicians, project managers and administrative staff. We work across the campuses in Odense, Svendborg and Nyborg and contribute to the work on the New OUH.

Salary & Employment Terms

Compensation is based on the principles of New Pay and depends on a negotiation between the bargaining organization and BDS. Other employment terms are in accordance with OUH policies and guidelines as well as the applicant's professional organizational background.

The Region is obliged to provide you with the starting salary for the position based on your educational background. You will be informed of base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the link below via Collective Agreement 33.18.1 "Professionsbachelorer in the technical field" or 32.23.1 "Craftsmen, fitters, electronic technicians, etc.". In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.

Starting salary for positions in Region of Southern Denmark

In Region Southern Denmark probation is 3 months.
