Carelink Pleje Herning seeks a Department Head

Are you structured, solution-oriented and good at getting many ends to meet? Do you have experience with duty roster planning, leadership, coordination and understanding of home care’s everyday life? Then you may be the one we are looking for as department head for Carelink Pleje in the Herning department.

About the position

As the department head you will have a central role in ensuring that our field staff have the best possible conditions to deliver care and support to the citizens. You will be responsible for planning and coordination and will work closely with the operations manager, quality nurse, planner and other administrative colleagues.

Your tasks will include

• Daily route and duty roster planning in collaboration with the operations manager
• Ongoing follow-up and adjustment of plans in case of illness, absence and changes
• Collaboration with HR on registration, hours and absence
• Dialogue with field staff and management about staffing and priorities
• Use and maintenance of planning systems (we use Cura Plan)
• 37 hours, but agreeable with alternating working hours including on-call/urgent phone in rotation

Who are you?

• You are preferably trained in the health sector (occupational therapist, physiotherapist, nurse or similar). Experience with shift planning, knowledge of CURA and a leadership education or background would be beneficial.
• You are structured, systematic and good at staying calm when things change
• Thrives with leading employees.
• You enjoy collaborating with both other management and employees
• You have a flair for IT and systems
• You have an understanding of home care’s everyday life and the importance of stable operations
