About the job

Case-handling therapist for Visitation and Authority – Aids

Temporary position – maybe you are the one we’re missing on the team?

Do you want to make a difference for people – and at the same time have a workday with professional challenges, independence and room for a good laugh?

Then read on.

We are incredibly busy and are therefore looking for an extra colleague in a fixed-term 37-hour-per-week position for one year from December 1, 2026 – preferably earlier if you’re ready to jump in.

We are looking for an occupational therapist or physiotherapist who wants to work with case handling of aids, consumer goods and minor housing modifications under the Social Services Act §§ 112, 113 and 116.

What will you be doing?

Your main task will be to help us work through our waiting list – and you will not be sitting alone in front of a screen all day.

You will among other things

  • make home visits to citizens
  • assess the target group and needs
  • reveal the citizen's situation and daily life
  • document continuously
  • make authority decisions
  • find the right solution together with the citizen
  • choose, test and adapt aids and solutions.

In short: You will use both your therapeutic expertise, your authority mindset (provided at employment) and your common sense.

Who are we?

We are a group of 8 therapists and 3 administrative staff who work with aids, consumer goods, housing modifications and disability cars.

We are based at the Town Hall in Middelfart, where we sit together in an open-plan office. This means you rarely have to walk far to get sparring – there is always a colleague nearby who can either help you with a professional issue or just listen if you think the case is a bit tricky.

We work closely with our colleagues at the Aids Depot, and we document in KMD Nexus.

We have two entrances to our area

The first is at the Town Hall, where citizens can contact us by phone or come in person.

The other is our immediate service at the Aids Depot, where citizens can come and have applications for a range of aids processed immediately.

So yes – things happen with us. And that is exactly something we like.

What do you get with us?

We can offer

  • Skilled and engaged colleagues who take their professionalism seriously and can also laugh together.
  • An independent job with responsibility and competence, where you help plan your workday within our opening hours and tasks.
  • Plenty of sparring and collaboration – both mono- and interdisciplinary and across the organization.
  • A solid onboarding program and a mentor, so you are not sent out into the world with a computer, a lunchbox and a “good luck”.
  • Car, bike or e-bike when you need to visit a citizen at home.
  • A collegial community where we actually think it’s important that we feel good while we’re at work. There is room for learning and it’s okay to make mistakes from time to time – as long as we learn together.
  • An workplace where daily life can be busy – but where there is also room for humor, laughter and a chat over coffee.

Who are you?

We imagine that you

  • Are educated as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist.
  • Have work experience – preferably from the authority sector, but this is by no means a requirement.
  • Can meet citizens and partners at eye level.
  • Can work independently, but also know when it’s smart to ask a colleague.
  • Have IT literacy at user level.
  • Have experience with KMD Nexus – or are ready to learn it.
  • Thrive in a daily life where change is not a guest, but a fixed part of the inventory.
  • Can maintain overview, even when it is busy.
  • Contribute positively to the working environment.
  • Have a driving license (class B).

And perhaps most importantly: You must want to be part of a team where we help each other and are not afraid to say:

“This one we’ll have to figure out together.”
