About the job

Since one of our therapists is retiring after many years in the department, we are now looking for a new colleague for our team of assistive device therapists.

As an assistive device therapist, you will visit the citizen at home and assess what makes everyday life difficult. Here you use your therapeutic knowledge to find solutions and assess whether the citizen is entitled to assistive devices or housing alterations under applicable law and the municipality's service level. The workday thus alternates between home visits and administrative work.

What will you work with?

You will process applications for assistive devices, consumables and home modifications. This includes, among other things, to:

  • assess the citizen's functional level and make decisions according to the Social Services Act §§ 112, 113 and 116
  • select and adapt approved assistive devices
  • work purposefully with case processing
  • ensure a multidisciplinary focus in case handling
  • motivating the citizen in relation to coping and rehabilitation.

Use your therapeutic perspective in the authority role

We are looking for a trained occupational therapist or physiotherapist who is eager to work with assistive devices and case handling.

If you have experience in the area, that is an advantage.

The authority role requires that you can make decisions and explain them clearly. At the same time you must be able to listen, meet the citizen with understanding for the individual’s situation and together find the most suitable solutions.

In addition, we emphasize that you

  • take responsibility and can plan and prioritise your tasks yourself
  • are development-oriented
  • have good IT skills.

Get a good start with us

In the team you will meet engaged and experienced colleagues who help you get started with targeted introduction and training. We place emphasis on quality and professional development in work that requires both efficiency and depth.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is, as a rule, 37 hours per week with a start date 1 February 2027.

You will have flexible working conditions and base at the newly renovated town hall on Chr M Østergaards Vej, with, among other things, a canteen, gym, free health scheme, coffee and fruit.

Salary is determined according to the applicable collective agreement based on your qualifications and negotiations with the negotiating organisation.

As part of the recruitment process we collect references for the candidate we offer the job to.

We determine salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and relevant pre-arrangements on local wage formation within the individual professional area. You can see the salary level, including base pay and pension, in the municipalities' and regions' salary data office here.
