Central financial consultant with a focus on the Health, Elderly and Care area

We are looking for a committed financial consultant for Finance & Procurement, where you will take a central role in financial management in the health, elderly and care area. You will become an important collaboration and sparring partner, contributing to creating coherence between professional ambitions, strategic goals and the financial framework.

Your everyday life with us

The finances in the health, elderly and care area are both complex and exciting, not least in relation to reform work and its implementation. Therefore, we are looking for a colleague who thrives on analyses, dialogue and advisory work, and who is motivated by turning numbers into usable knowledge.

You will become part of a team of six employees who support the Health, Elderly & Care area as well as the Specialised Social Area. At the same time you will be part of the overall Finance & Procurement department with 34 engaged colleagues spread across five teams.

As a financial consultant, your key tasks will be

• Advise and spar with administrative staff, managers, centre head and the area director
• Prepare budgets, budget follow-ups and accounts
• Carry out financial analyses, impact assessments and tariff calculations
• Develop and maintain budget assumptions and tariff models
• Prepare decision papers and support implementation and follow-up on political decisions
• Prepare financial reports and management information
• Handle interesting ad hoc tasks in an organization of great societal importance

Finance & Procurement is part of the Center for Economy & Properties. We support the entire municipality with financial advice, budgeting, analyses and financial management.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have an interest in financial management and thrive in the role of advisor. You have an analytical approach, work in a structured way and can create an overview – even when the pace is high.

It is an advantage if you

• Have a financial or accounting educational background
• Have knowledge of municipal finances and the municipal budget and accounting system
• Are familiar with the Office suite and preferably KMD Opus Economics
• Can translate numbers and analyses into understandable messages
• Are curious, development-oriented and solution-focused
• Work independently and at the same time are a team player
• Contribute actively to a good working environment and good collaboration

You do not need to know everything from day one. The most important thing is that you want to learn, take responsibility and are motivated to create value through financial insight and advisory work.

Employment terms

• Permanent position at 37 hours per week with start date 1 January 2027
• Employment according to the applicable collective agreement
