Chief Consultant for ERP System Implementation in Rudersdal Municipality

Rudersdal Municipality shall implement a new ERP system to support the municipality's financial and administrative processes for many years to come. Therefore we are seeking an experienced and action-oriented chief consultant who can lead the implementation safely through from preparation and procurement to implementation, anchoring and benefit realization.

About the job

As chief consultant and project manager you will have the overall responsibility for planning, management and execution of the municipality's ERP project. You must ensure progress, build alignment among stakeholders, and be the link between business, suppliers and the project organization.

Your tasks will include

• Lead the implementation of the municipality's ERP solution.
• Ensure strong project management with focus on time, finances, quality and risk management.
• Support and coordinate the procurement process in close collaboration with relevant professional areas and external consultants.
• Ensure involvement and anchoring across the organization.
• Drive collaboration with suppliers and other external partners.
• Prepare decision proposals and reporting to steering groups and management.
• Contribute to benefit realization and organizational implementation.
• Ensure coherence between technology, workflows and business needs.

About you

We are seeking a project manager with strong experience from complex projects, and with solid competencies within administration and/or public administration. You will become a central part of the program “Future Service and Administration” as well as the Digitalization Department in Rudersdal Municipality and will hold a key position in a project with great strategic importance for the entire organization.

We are looking for a profile that

• Has documented experience with leading large and complex projects.
• Has experience with implementing ERP solutions or equivalent mission-critical systems.
• Has a good understanding of finance and payroll/human resources areas and supporting system landscapes.
• Has experience with or insight into public procurement and contract management.
• Preferably has experience from a municipality or another public organization.
• Is a strong stakeholder manager and thrives in the interaction between management, professional areas and suppliers.
• Works in a structured, analytical and results-oriented manner.
• Is clear in communication and can build trust across the organization.

You will be employed full-time, with start date of December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.
