Experts sought for vacant position at EUPM Moldova

Would you like to contribute to strengthening Denmark's civilian engagement in the world's hotspots? Through the Deployment Facility for Peace and Democracy (UFD), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offers exciting challenges and an opportunity to make a difference through secondment to the EU’s civilian crisis management missions.

Job description and qualifications

The EU has advertised several positions at the EU’s civilian mission in Moldova.

However, applications can only be submitted for the following position through the UFD

• MOL 12 - Strategic Adviser on Hybrid Threats

Conditions

The deployment duration is expected to be 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Deployment takes place on the terms of the Deployment Facility for Peace and Democracy: Regulations for UFD personnel .

Please note that it is a requirement for deployment through the UFD that you are a Danish citizen.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs/UFD forwards applications from the most suitable candidates to the EU, which invites the most qualified applicants to interviews. The EU also accepts applications for the positions from other EU member states. If the EU wishes to fill a position with a Danish candidate, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/UFD will enter into a contract with the person in question — a so-called secondment .

About UFD

UFD is a deployment facility under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which makes it possible to send Danish experts out on civilian crisis management tasks with the aim of stabilizing and strengthening the security sector and promoting peace and democracy.

UFD reports to the Office for Migration, Peace and Stabilisation (MIGSTAB) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. MIGSTAB has the overarching political responsibility for UFD, while the daily administration since 2008 has been handled by NIRAS A/S .
