About the job

Do you want to help shape the future of the local health care system?

Would you like to use your professional expertise where it makes a difference – and at the same time help create new frameworks for the health care system of the future?

From January 1, 2027, the Health and Care Placements in Horsens will become part of Citizen-Centered Health under Horsens Regional Hospital. We are therefore facing an exciting development where we together will create cohesive citizen pathways and strengthen the efforts for citizens with complex health care needs.

We are looking for engaged nurses and social- and health care assistants who want to make a difference, think creatively and become part of a strong professional community.

Does that sound like something for you? Then read on!

Be part of creating something new

The Health and Care Placements will become an important part of the new Citizen-Centered Health. Here you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of new workflows, professional solutions and forms of collaboration – with the citizen at the center.

The Health and Care Placements are distributed across two sites

  • Langmarksvej , where we have 19 places, in the same building as the nursing home Lindehøj.
  • Strandpromenaden , where we have 12 places in a department at Horsens Regional Hospital.

We are recruiting staff for both sites.

With us you will meet a broad target group of citizens with newly diagnosed illness or deterioration of known illness. This places demands on your professionalism, your clinical assessments and your ability to create an overview in a daily life where tasks and needs can change rapidly.

You will play a central role in ensuring nursing and health care treatment of high quality and in collaboration with the therapists on the rehabilitative efforts. We work interdisciplinary with a focus on the individual citizen's goals, resources and possibilities to master their own life.

Here you will need both your professional skills, your independence and your ability to see the whole person.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are a nurse or a social- and health care assistant with a desire to bring your professionalism into play in an environment where collaboration, development and quality go hand in hand.

We emphasize that you

  • Are motivated by citizen pathways where rehabilitation, acute nursing and complex issues meet.
  • Thrive in creating an overview and prioritizing in a fluctuating daily life.
  • Can work independently, make professional assessments and take responsibility for your tasks.
  • Meet citizens and relatives with presence, respect and clear communication.
  • Have good collaboration skills and thrive in close interprofessional collaboration with colleagues and external partners.
  • Contribute positively to the community and help create a good working environment.
  • Are eager to learn, develop yourself and help shape a workplace in change.

Experience with rehabilitation and the elderly medical patient is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you want to use your professional skills, learn new things and contribute to good pathways for the citizens.

Why you should choose us

With us you will become part of a strong multidisciplinary community with high ambitions on behalf of the citizens. We believe the best solutions are created when we share our knowledge, help each other and bring different professional perspectives into play.

We work together as a team, take the time we need, and strive every day to create safe, cohesive and dignified pathways for the citizens. We meet citizens, relatives and each other with respect and recognition, and we emphasize a workplace where there is room for dialogue, learning and professional sparring.

With us you get

  • A thorough orientation program that gives you a good start.
  • Skilled and engaged colleagues who help each other in everyday life.
  • Opportunity to work independently and bring your professional skills into play.
  • Close interdisciplinary collaboration with focus on the citizen's overall pathway.
  • Focus on well-being, learning and psychological safety.
  • Opportunity to influence the development of Citizen-Centered Health and help find new solutions.

In other words, you will have the opportunity to make a difference for citizens here and now and to contribute to developing the health-care offerings of the future close to the citizens.

Employment terms

The positions are initially 37 hours per week.

The Health and Care Placements are an offering every day of the week. You will therefore work every third weekend and in addition to day shifts you should expect either evening or night shifts.

Employment is conditional on satisfactory authorization and a children's certificate.

Do you want to join the journey?

If you would like to become part of an engaged professional community where we together create new possibilities for the citizens?

We look forward to hearing from you!

If you have questions about the positions, you are welcome to contact daily manager Gunna Nordfoss on phone 29 66 83 86.
