Cleaning and service assistant sought for a permanent position in the Psychiatry Department at Aalborg University Hospital

Service & Cleaning seeks an engaged and structured employee for a permanent position of 33.5 hours. We are looking for you who thrives with varied work, where the focus is on high hygiene and thorough cleaning, combined with various service tasks in the open wards.

Your tasks

As a cleaning and service assistant you will be a central part of the hospital's daily operations and ensure that the physical surroundings are always clean and inviting.

Your tasks will primarily include

• Cleaning: Thorough cleaning of patient rooms, bathrooms, common rooms and staff rooms.
• Kitchen tasks: Plating and tidying of food/coffee as well as support in kitchen operations.
• Service & Logistics: Various ordering tasks (e.g. food/goods) and warehouse management.
• Quality assurance: Self-check and ensuring high hygiene in accordance with the hospital's standards.

You will be part of a team that values community, professionalism and integrity.

About the job

You will work in the open wards, where you must be able to move around among psychiatric patients with different diagnoses. We have close collaboration with the other staff to ensure that you gain the necessary knowledge about the patients to perform your work in a safe and professional manner.

Together with your colleagues you share responsibility for achieving the day’s tasks, and it is important that you are good at collaborating and coordinating your tasks.

Working hours and start

The position is 33.5 hours with the following shift pattern

• Primarily day shifts (e.g. 06.00 – 13.30 / 06.00 – 14.00).
• A late-shift week once a month (12.00 – 20.00).
• Every 4th weekend with working hours 06.00 – 13.30.

Start 1 December.

Your workplace will be Hospital Town, 9260 Gistrup.
