Hospital aide/Piccolo/Piccoline sought for Department of Hematology at Rigshospitalet

Start date December 1, 2026, or possibly later.

Do you enjoy being on the move, helping others and making things work in a busy daily life?

Then perhaps you are the person we are looking for for a versatile position as hospital aide/piccolo/piccoline in the Department of Haematology at Rigshospitalet.

We are seeking a dedicated employee for 30 hours per week. You will be an important part of the department and will have a daily routine with many different tasks, where you help both patients and colleagues by ensuring that the practical things run as they should. You will have a colleague with whom you share the tasks, and together you will form an important link in the department.

An active daily routine

It is not a desk job.

On the contrary, you will move around large parts of Rigshospitalet several times a day. Therefore it is important that you thrive in a physically active job. On an average workday you often walk around 20,000 steps and also use stairs during the day.

Working hours on weekdays between 8:00 and 15:00.

Your tasks

Your tasks will among other things be

• Transport of patient samples between departments, laboratories and different sections
• Transport of materials and equipment between the department and outpatient clinics
• Restocking and lighter warehouse tasks
• Packing and shipping of materials
• Ordering of goods and other administrative tasks
• Light practical tasks such as emptying waste, cleaning refrigerators, descaling coffee machines, etc.
• Diverse ad hoc tasks that contribute to daily life functioning for patients and staff

• Work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• Have an eye for what needs to be done and take initiative yourself
• Are positive, helpful and contribute to a good work environment
• Are meticulous, flexible and reliable
• Are keen to stay in the position for at least one year, preferably longer
