About the job

We can offer a workplace that values transparency, equality and mutual respect highly, where we value collaboration and diversity in the staff group

You will be attached to a fixed team, and your working hours are Monday to Thursday from 11:00 to 17:00 and Fridays until 16:00. Wednesday morning there is a collaboration meeting with the team.

You will meet a professionally grounded and well-functioning staff. We have a common professional direction and focus on the core task. Our goal is high quality so that all children and young people can develop personally, socially and academically. We strive for a professional and constructive collaboration between pedagogues and teachers, where we have knowledge of and understanding of each other’s competences, expectations and ambitions.

We focus on visible and transparent leadership based on the following values: Credibility – something we must create. Clarity – to strive to be in communication and processes. Curiosity – something we will insist on. Integrity – something that permeates our task.

Leisure/after-school and school share a common values base and vision, where each KKFO/grade-team can work individually with pedagogical initiatives based on the children’s composition. We therefore want each self-governing KKFO team to cultivate and preserve its own character adapted to the age group.

As a workplace we expect everyone to be responsible and have a high work ethic. You must be able to make independent decisions and act, possess situational awareness and participate on equal terms with all colleagues.

The after-school service has about 440 children aged 6-10 years. We work in four year-group teams. Each team consists of about 120 children connected to 3-5 school classes and about six to eight staff members.

We strive to work consciously with age integration and thus activities across grades and teams. Leisure and school share a common values base and vision. Each KKFO team works from individual pedagogical profiles based on the grade and the composition of the children. Everyone has a focus on good and fun school and work days.

We therefore want each self-governing KKFO team to preserve its distinct character. We work in an appreciative manner and have a focus on inclusive pedagogy. We value equality and mutual respect highly. Our goal is high quality, so all children and young people have a safe and secure development environment with a focus on well-being and learning.

If the above sounds interesting, you might be the one we are looking for. We need you who want the best for the children’s personal, social and academic development, are passionate about developing the cooperation between leisure and school and have the courage and desire to be a visible and welcoming adult for all children.

If you have musical skills, it would be an advantage, as it is something we miss. But it is not a requirement.

As our new pedagogical assistant we expect that you

  • have the willingness and desire to be a visible and approachable adult for all children
  • are reliable and flexible and contribute with enthusiasm in all contexts
  • have a desire for collaboration between leisure and school
  • are responsible and have a high work ethic
  • can make independent decisions and act
  • have an overview and sense of the situation and participate on equal terms with your colleagues
  • are motivated, engaged and curious
  • have an appreciative view of children with a focus on good and fun school days for all children and adults
