Some of the most important moments in a child's life begin in play. Perhaps the child lacks the courage to participate, and right here they need adults who can help them into the community, into the imagination - and perhaps an adult who can support and provide security through the small words: “Come, we’ll try together.”

At Lille Højstrup Børnehus we are looking for a pedagogical assistant who wants to be close to the children in all that fills their everyday life – play, relationships, small victories, conflicts, laughter and all the moments when children develop together with others.

With us you are not “just extra hands.” You are an important part of the children's day.

A house filled with life

We are a daycare center with many different children, families and perspectives. Here children may be different, and we work every day so that all children experience that they belong to the community.

That means we adults are close to the children. We participate in the play, help children into relationships, create security and follow the children's initiatives and curiosity.

Some days we go on trips. Other days we comfort, sing, clown around, investigate earthworms, read the same book five times or help a child find the courage to join in.

That is the work we love.

You fit in well with us if you

You don't need to know everything beforehand. The most important thing is that you want to be a part of the children's world and help create a place where children feel safe, happy and meaningful.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

The position is paid according to the applicable collective agreement. The expected salary level will be stated before any interview and depends on experience and qualifications.
