About us

The Cyber Division of the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization is seeking a new employee for the position of IT support technician at the Local IT Service Element (LITS) at Korsør Naval Station.

The Cyber Division helps manage the digital systems that are crucial for the Armed Forces to handle tasks related to pollution, disasters and rescue, as well as to support our deployed colleagues. We provide the digital infrastructure that enables users in the Army, Navy, Air Force and the Danish Emergency Management Agency to work effectively on a daily basis.

LITS Korsør consists of a team of 4 employees, including 1 apprentice. We handle all forms of local IT tasks at Korsør Naval Station and other locations in the region.

In the job you will join our service team where you provide our customers with 1st and 2nd level support. Your duties will range from a few telephone support tasks to personal contact with users with very different backgrounds. Therefore it is essential that you enjoy a job with varied tasks, where you can adapt to the user’s needs and knowledge.

You will be dealing with a wide range of tasks, including

  • Installation, maintenance and optimization of primarily Microsoft solutions

You will be part of the department on equal terms with your colleagues. There are good opportunities for both professional and personal development and you will continuously face professional challenges. We would like you to be educated as an IT support technician or have equivalent competencies and have a good grasp of wireless and wired networks. You should be proficient with PC hardware and Microsoft products, and it would be advantageous to have knowledge of ITIL and ITSM tools (Remedy/Service Now). Prior knowledge of the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (FMI) or another similar large organization would be a good starting point but is not required.

You are robust, structured and self-driven and able to plan your own workday with follow-up and reporting. You meet the “customer” with a focus and present yourself as serious and presentable, able to interact with staff and colleagues.

It is crucial that you enjoy working in a team and solving tasks across and within the organization, thereby engaging in your work and wishing to develop professionally, just as you are prepared to continually learn about new products and technologies when necessary. Knowledge sharing and coordination are two key words frequently used in our team.

Quality of work is a key word for you. You are persistent and take pride in solving the task to both your own and the users’ satisfaction.

You can plan and carry out tasks independently within given parameters and preferably with broad shoulders if things do not go exactly according to plan.
