About the job

Do you want to lead fixed cross-disciplinary teams and help shape the future of holistic care?

In Citizens’ Own Home (Borger Eget Hjem) we strengthen leadership close to the employees and citizens. As part of the implementation of fixed teams and the continued development of our organisation, we are expanding with several daily managers. Therefore we are seeking a daily manager who, together with employees and management colleagues, will help strengthen collaboration across disciplines, support high professional quality in task execution, and set the direction for continued development.

About us

Citizen’s Own Home is part of Health and Care in Silkeborg Municipality. We provide care, treatment, companionship, rehabilitation and training to citizens living at home and focus on ensuring good and coherent pathways. At the same time, we are actively establishing and developing fixed cross-disciplinary teams where the citizen’s wishes, resources and life situation are the focal point of the effort.

We believe that the best solutions are created through close collaboration between citizens, relatives and employees. Therefore we work with a starting point in Health and Care’s core task:

"We collaborate with the citizen to strengthen health and promote the citizen’s independent and meaningful life."

Your role as leader

As daily leader you create direction, coherence and well-being in daily life. You are both close to the employees and the task and contribute to a culture characterized by professionalism, responsibility and continuous improvement. Together with employees and leader colleagues you help ensure the core task is solved with high quality and with the citizen at the centre.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

  • ensure daily operations and create good frameworks for employees’ task execution
  • perform personnel leadership, including employee development, well-being, sick leave and recruitment
  • support professional development and strengthen cross-disciplinary collaboration in the group
  • follow up on quality, economy and resources in cooperation with leader colleagues
  • translate strategic decisions into meaningful practice close to the citizens

You will have your daily base at Gormsvej 1 in Voel and become part of a local leadership community with two other leaders, where sparring, collaboration and shared responsibility are a natural part of everyday life. At the same time you will become part of a strong leadership community across Citizens’ Own Home with a total of 18 leaders, who together contribute to development, knowledge sharing and joint solutions across the organization.

Holistic Care Group Sejs

Today, Gormsvej 1 in Voel consists of two home care groups and one nursing group. From the beginning of 2027 these will be organised into three cross-disciplinary holistic care groups. As daily leader you will be responsible for one of the groups and will therefore, together with the employees, play a central role in the development of cross-disciplinary holistic care.

The holistic care group consists of two cross-disciplinary teams with a total of about 30 employees, including competence nurses, nurses, social and health care assistants, social and health helpers, as well as unskilled workers. It covers both day and evening shifts, and the ambition is to create a strong, robust and cross-disciplinary working community characterised by high professionalism, well-being and job satisfaction.

Sejs Group covers geographically Sejs, Linå, Laven Mollerup and Resenbro.

When we ask employees what they value in a leader, they say

  • “We want a leader with a heart for the citizens and a genuine view of employees’ well-being and development.”
  • “We are looking for a leader who can unite different professional disciplines, create following and, together with the employees, set a direction for the future of holistic care.”

We offer

  • An leadership role with great influence and the opportunity to set direction close to practice
  • The possibility to play an active role in the development of holistic care and fixed cross-disciplinary teams
  • A strong professional environment with engaged employees and leadership colleagues
  • Good opportunities for professional and leadership development

We imagine you

  • Have a health-professional background and a leadership education or are motivated to undertake a leadership education.
