You will become part of ECIT's Privacy Team and work closely with the Group DPO as well as local privacy contacts in the Danish companies. The role is a senior and operational position with close contact to management in the various companies, specialist functions and the business, and you report to the Group DPO.

About the position

  • Collaborate with the Group DPO to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and internal requirements.
  • Advise the Danish companies on data protection in relation to projects, customer deliveries and day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare, maintain and further develop policies, procedures, templates and other documentation within the privacy area.
  • Coordinate handling of data breaches and security incidents, including assessment and follow-up.
  • Facilitate DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments) and privacy risk assessments.
  • Review data processing agreements and support assessments of suppliers' compliance.
  • Plan and conduct training, awareness initiatives and activities in the privacy network.
  • Contribute to group-wide privacy initiatives and ensure coherence between local and common standards.
  • Participate in relevant projects, working groups and improvement initiatives.

Who are you?

We envision that you

  • Have experience with compliance processes, privacy frameworks, risk assessments and data processing agreements.
  • Can translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into concrete and usable solutions for the business.
  • Fluent in Danish and English in writing and speech.
  • Have an interest in technology, outsourcing, financial services or business systems, but this is not a requirement.

To succeed in the role

To thrive in the role, it is important that you combine professional depth with a pragmatic, service-minded and structured approach.

You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, while thriving in collaboration with many different stakeholders. You are good at creating understanding of data protection in practice and can communicate requirements and expectations clearly, relevantly and constructively.
