At the neurorehabilitation department at Regionshospitalet in Skive we are seeking a new colleague. The position is permanent and is available from January 1, 2027 or by agreement. The position is by default full-time and in mixed shifts; however, we have a particular wish that you will participate in day shifts and night shifts, but will view individual wishes positively.

About the position

Do you want to work with patients who have longer rehabilitation paths? Then you should apply for this position. Our patients are admitted for between 2-6 weeks and our foremost task is to support the patients in regaining as normal a daily life as possible after their brain injury in a multidisciplinary collaboration. The position is on Ward 12 (S12), where the patients are primarily admitted due to cognitive deficits after their brain injury; in addition, there is collaboration with S13, where the patients primarily have sensorimotor challenges.

The neurorehabilitation nursing task

As a nurse with us you become a central part of the neurorehabilitation team, where you among other things shall:

• Coordinate and plan patient pathways with a focus on the individual patient’s rehabilitation – at S12 it is primarily cognitive challenges
• Engage in a close multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral collaboration around the patient
• Handle documentation in the electronic patient journal (EPJ), which is crucial for ensuring continuity, coherence and high quality throughout the patient’s rehabilitation process

• Has knowledge of neuro-pedagogy and sees it as a natural part of the task

About the department

Neurorehabilitation Skive is part of Hammel Neurocenter with about 110 treatment beds and about 650 employees. We consist of 3 campuses in Hammel, Lemvig and Skive and are collectively led by a center management. The daily leadership in Neurorehabilitation Skive is handled by Chief Nurse Trine Balker and Lead Therapist Maj Britt Middelhede Olsen.

At Neurorehabilitation Skive the regional rehabilitation of brain-injured patients from the Central Region is carried out.
