Dedicated maternity leave substitute for Fogedgården – are you our new point of contact?

We are looking for a contact person for Fogedgården, our social-psychiatric supportive housing centrally located in Nørrebro. Here you will work together with colleagues and residents to contribute to rehabilitation and recovery.

About Fogedgården

Fogedgården consists of 52 independent housing units as well as communal spaces, where we offer practical help and pedagogical support under the Social Services Act §§ 83 and 85. The residents connected to us have various mental health challenges such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and anxiety. They often have lifestyle-related somatic challenges and some have a use of intoxicants. The residents’ functional level and need for support vary greatly, so we work both guiding, supporting and compensating.

We are a strong multidisciplinary team consisting of social educators, occupational therapists, nurses, social workers, and social- and health care assistants. We believe that with the right support the residents can live an independent and valuable life.

Your everyday life as a contact person

As a contact person at Fogedgården you will be the contact person for three to four residents. Your tasks will include holding conversations with the residents to understand their needs and wishes, arranging activities that promote their social skills, medication management and supporting them in practical tasks in their housing around personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning and cooking. You will develop and adjust the Residents’ Plan together with the resident and colleagues, as well as evaluate and adjust the efforts continuously in line with the resident's development.

You will be responsible for planning and facilitating group activities such as music cafe, craft cafe and sports activities, creating a safe and stimulating environment for the residents. In addition you will collaborate with our external partners, including psychiatrists and substance misuse consultants, to ensure the best support for the residents.

Are you the right person?

We are looking for a contact person who is educated within the health or social field with experience with mental disorders and substance misuse, e.g., social- and health care assistant or pedagogue. To succeed in the task it is important that you are proactive, outgoing and persistent in your approach to the residents and their individual dreams and goals, and that you have an interest and flair for operating in both the pedagogical and the health care tasks.

You should be good at building trust and acting on individual challenges. It is important that you are curious about new methods, a team player, and can document the work effectively.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local salary formation.

The position is 37 hours per week, distributed between 08:00-19:00 with work every 4th weekend.

The maternity leave cover is for nine months with the possibility of extension.

The position is desired to be filled on 1 January 2027 or by agreement.
