Dedicated teacher for the upper school at Katrinedals School – well-being, learning and academic rigour

We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about Danish, history and social studies in lower secondary, and possibly music in other year groups.

You will become part of our 8th grade year group team, which collaborates closely with all students in the year group through our lower secondary model, and you will therefore also have the opportunity to become the form teacher (homeroom teacher) for a smaller group of students in the year group.

In the 8th and 9th grades there are two Danish teachers in all Danish lessons, which requires close collaboration both in preparation and in the execution of the teaching, but which also provides a good opportunity to reach all students.

In addition to Danish, history and social studies in lower secondary, it would be a plus if you can take some music in other year levels.

Katrinedals Skole is a well-run and attractive school, located five minutes from Flintholm Station. The school educates 920 creative, motivated and lively students who come to school with strong parental support. We are around 80 teachers, 16 school pedagogues and a number of resource persons who support the academic, social and personal wellbeing of students and staff.

Terms of employment

The position is initially full-time and with commencement on 1 January 2027. Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. In connection with the appointment we will obtain child- and criminal-record checks as well as references.
