Dietitian with sole responsibility for Søparken LeveBo

Søparken LeveBo is a care center with 60 residents distributed in 6 houses in lovely surroundings. The apartments are located in 2 clusters with green areas around the homes. All homes are public somatic care homes. We have a close collaboration with relatives and volunteers. The care center is centrally located in Frederikshavn, and there is a bus stop nearby.

We are seeking a dietary staff member, preferably a nutrition assistant or with equivalent relevant education, who is passionate about creating good food experiences and nutritionally correct meals for elderly residents.

The position is initially 37 hours per week, but we are open to your preferences regarding hours. The working time will predominantly be daytime on weekdays, but a couple of days per week the working time will be arranged with overlap to the evening shift, so as to ensure close cooperation around the residents' wishes and needs.

Employment 1 January 2027 or by agreement.

Your tasks will include among others

• plan meals in accordance with national recommendations and Frederikshavn Municipality's quality standards
• take care of purchasing in collaboration with the care staff
• prepare and/or cook the hot meals as well as desserts and snacks, including diet and special diets for residents with particular nutritional needs
• be in close dialogue with residents and care staff about wishes and needs regarding the diet
• have an overview of and co-responsibility for ensuring that food budgets are adhered to
• be the go-between for self-checks and ensure that applicable guidelines are followed
• participate in planning and execution of common social arrangements in the houses at Søparken LeveBo
• contribute to a close multidisciplinary collaboration around residents' well-being and quality of life

We expect that you

• are trained nutrition assistant or have another relevant dietary education
• have an interest in the elderly field and in the meal's importance for health, well-being and quality of life
• can work independently and take responsibility for daily tasks
• have an appreciative, welcoming and curious approach to residents, relatives and colleagues
• are flexible and contribute to good task solving in daily work
• actively participate in the work community and the cross-disciplinary collaboration
• have financial understanding and can work within the given budgetary framework
• have knowledge of IT at user level and are willing to perform e.g. purchasing and payment approvals online
