DMR seeks geologist for the geotechnical department in Silkeborg

DMR Geoteknik is looking for a geologist as soon as possible for our office in Silkeborg to perform geotechnical investigations and engineering geological descriptions.

You must be educated as a geologist (bachelor or master), and it is an advantage to have experience with engineering geological descriptions, geotechnical investigations, and project management.

You will work together with our experienced project managers and oversee geotechnical investigations and engineering geological descriptions.

DMR Geotechnics currently employs about 55 of DMR's total approximately 300 employees. We are a cross-cutting national department with staff who work from the different offices close to their own residence, but with a close, trustful, and well-functioning collaboration both internally within the department and with the other departments in DMR. Work is carried out across geography and offices, so your tasks may involve working with colleagues nationwide. Your tasks will include, among others:

• planning of geotechnical investigations
• participation in drilling during geotechnical investigations
• engineering geological descriptions
• preparation of geotechnical reports.

We expect that you

• are educated as a geologist
• have 3-5 years of experience as a geotechnician
• are used to working on a construction site / in the field all year round
• have a good understanding of economics
• work independently and systematically
• are quality-conscious and have good written and oral communication skills (in Danish)
• focus on quality and collaboration
• have your own car.
