Do you have time and energy in everyday life?

Many people do not have the opportunity to leave their homes themselves and participate in the activities they love. It may be because they use a wheelchair, have a visual impairment or live with the consequences of a brain injury. For them, it can be a big challenge to go on shopping trips, walks, to the cinema or visit family and friends – without support.

If a citizen has a significant and lasting reduced physical or mental function, they may be granted companionship. The companionship scheme then helps the citizen find a companion who matches the citizen's needs.

Right now we are in need of more engaged companions – perhaps you?

As a companion you will be employed and paid. Your task is to pick up the citizen at their home and accompany them to activities outside the home, so the citizen can get the freedom, participation and joy of life they deserve.

Typical tasks as a companion

• Accompany on shopping trips and walks
• Visits to family and friends
• Support with leisure activities and sports
• Accompany to the cinema, theatre or other cultural events
