THE INTEGRATED INSTITUTION BØRNEHUSET JÆGERGÅRDSGADE, SEEKS a PEDAGOGUE FOR A permanent POSITION IN the nursery. as of January 1 or February 1. We are waiting for the right one

We are looking for a pedagogue with 37 hours for Børnehuset Jægergårdsgade, who is motivated to create the best conditions for the children’s well-being, in a high professional environment.

You enter a strong collegial community where we emphasise the ability to cooperate and make each other look good. We work in a structured way with a focus on positions, to ensure predictability for all children, which makes it possible to work in small groups based on the children’s zone of proximal development.

As a starting point you will be employed in the nursery, but you should be able to see yourself in the whole house, as we are a large house, and you are therefore employed in Børnehuset Jægergårdsgade. You should therefore be willing to work with children from 0-6 years. In daily work we help each other across the house, and if there are sick leaves in the nursery we move around as needed.

In the nursery we are divided into rooms in the forenoon, and we often immerse ourselves in smaller groups in our own room; from noon we are together as a house, where we help each other, all to provide the greatest possible coherence for the children. We make great use of taking trips with a cargo bike, pushchair or walking frame. Likewise we use the house and the neighbor’s opportunities for creative activities, motor skills and bathing room. All children know all adults once they have been with us for a while.

In Børnehuset Jægergårdsgade the kindergarten is a forest kindergarten, which every day makes a trip to Peter Sabroes Minde. Here we have our daily life in the forest, on the beach and in the surrounding nature.

Every Friday all the children are in the nursery, and here we work across the entire house, and collaborate with those we do not normally have our daily routine with, across rooms and the kindergarten and nursery.

We place a high value on outdoor life, and we know it requires a bit of ingenuity when we live right in the middle of the city, so you should be able to see the value in that.

We prioritise having reflective dialogues across the house. Likewise all rooms/groups have room meetings and there are joint staff meetings throughout the house. We use each other’s knowledge and spar with each other at structured meetings.

Salary and terms of employment

The appointment is for 37 hours.

Interviews are held on an ongoing basis.

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting is decided after negotiation with the union representing the employee on the basis of qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for salary setting

About us

In Børnehuset we currently have 12 pedagogues, 2 pedagogical assistants, 1 pedagogue student, 1 pedagogical helper, 1 kitchen manager and 1 pedagogical leader. All of us are employed to ensure the core task and create a safe everyday life, where the children meet present and engaged adults who support them in their development and participation in the community.

Our location in the middle of the city means that many exciting things happen just outside the nursery’s door. We have both prams and cargo bikes, which we use actively to get around.

Børnehuset Jægergårdsgade is an integrated institution, normed to 36 nursery children and about 40 kindergarten children.

The kindergarten goes to the forest (Peter Sabros Minde) Monday-Thursday 9-15 and the oldest from the nursery join once a week, just as the oldest kindergarten children stay home in the nursery one extra day a week. Friday we are all, both nursery and kindergarten, in and around the house in Jægergårdsgade, where we play across and between.
