Dyslexia Advisor at Vildbjerg School

In Herning Municipality there is a strong focus on the dyslexia initiative. Therefore there are dyslexia advisers employed at the schools, and at Vildbjerg School the dyslexia initiative amounts to the equivalent of 1½ positions.

Vildbjerg School will be your primary place of employment, but the role includes the function that you, together with the school's other dyslexia adviser, drive to our partner schools in the area and also here help to carry out the dyslexia guidance.

We therefore need you, who are a dyslexia adviser, and who would like to perform the function in half of your position. In addition, you must also teach Danish and mathematics to 7th grade. We expect that you

• are trained as a teacher with a major in Danish and also preferably in Mathematics
• are a trained dyslexia adviser
• alternatively are a reading supervisor with a desire to take a dyslexia adviser education
• can create good learning environments for students who are dyslexic
• are skilled in classroom management and relationship-building
• are good at collaborating and are keen to do so
• want to engage in close reading team collaboration
• are academically strong and can motivate the students
• value good and constructive collaboration with parents
• and very importantly, that you have humor and a good mood.
