Educator and middle manager sought for Møllehaven

Møllehaven is seeking an educator for the kindergarten and a middle manager for the house

Do you want to help create a daily life where children feel that they are the most important? Then you’re the person we’re looking for!

Møllehaven is an integrated day-care center with four kindergarten groups and two baby groups. We are located in scenic surroundings in Karlslunde Village, where we have good opportunities to actively use both our playground and the local area in everyday life.

We are currently seeking two new colleagues

• An educator for our kindergarten.
• A middle manager for the entire house.

At Møllehaven we work based on the Greve Municipality’s policy for children and young people and a shared view of children, where we meet children with curiosity, respect and the belief that children do the best they can. This is the foundation of our pedagogical practice, our collaboration with parents and our way of being with the children.

For us, the goal is simple: Children should think it’s fun to go to kindergarten and to nursery, and they should feel themselves as active participants in their own daily life. Therefore we are looking for staff who every day want to make a difference and help create memories, communities and the best days.

Educator for the kindergarten

We are looking for a trained educator who can base themselves on what the children are calling for, and who can see the value in both small and large moments during the day.

We know that pedagogical work encompasses many different tasks, and we need a colleague who can navigate them.

Can you

• Support play and childhood communities?
• Be curious together with the children?
• Create strong relationships?
• Prepare action plans and follow up on initiatives?
• Create participation opportunities for all children?
• Navigate a day-to-day life in a general day-care setting?

But most importantly: Can you show the children every single day that you come to work to be with them?

Then this might be you we are looking for for our "Lions" at the Lion’s Den. A group of 3-6 year-old kindergarten children are looking forward to meeting you and showing you all the fun of going to kindergarten with us.

Middle manager for the whole house

We are establishing a new middle-manager position at Møllehaven, and we look forward to welcoming a new colleague on board.

As a middle manager you will not be assigned to a fixed room. Your task will instead be to support and develop pedagogy across the entire house.

You will help create coherence, direction and quality in the pedagogical work and be close to both children, staff and day-to-day practice.

At the same time you will play a central role in the house’s professional development. You contribute to planning, participate in team meetings and parent conversations, and support the staff in the work of creating strong learning environments and participation opportunities for all children.

The position does not include personnel management. Instead, you will have a special responsibility to support, qualify and further develop the pedagogical practice in close collaboration with staff and management.
