Qualified educator for a team coordinator role in the after-school program for 3rd grade at Sankt Annæ School

Are you interested in strengthening our leisure institution academically, systematically and purposefully?

We are looking for a trained pedagogue who, through communal activities, will work to create curiosity among children aged 8-10. At our leisure institution (FI) for the 3rd grade at Sankt Annæ Elementary School and High School (SAG), we are about to start working with KIDS, a method to investigate and develop pedagogical practice, and we want you, together with the pedagogical leader, to be the facilitator for the implementation and work with KIDS FI.

The leisure institution is located on Sjælør Boulevard 149, right next to the leisure club SFC at no. 147, with whom we do transition work from FI to the club. The leisure institution is a sub-division of Fritidscenter Indre Valby, which besides FI consists of six leisure clubs and junior clubs, a separate junior club, an animal park, a youth workshop and a workshop, as well as an outreach team. The leisure center covers an area around South Harbour, Sjælør, Folehaven, Enghave, Sluseholmen, Teglholmen and Vesterbro.

Fritidscenter Indre Valby, including FI, is part of Fritidsklynge Valby/Vesterbro/Kgs. Enghave, which covers the municipal recreational services in Valby for children and young people up to 18 years old. About Fritidscenter Indre Valby

We want to find a team coordinator who brings a lot of energy, the ability for professional reflection and knowledge of working with community-building activities. You must be curious about being the daily facilitator for your three colleagues and about 75 enrolled children from Sankt Annæ’s 3rd grade.

Your primary working hours are between 12:30-17:00, where you will run activities with the children. There will be meetings and the possibility of TK tasks in the morning.

At the leisure institution we strive to create safe frameworks where the children, through activities, engagement and presence, learn to master life and develop as whole people.

• be a professional lighthouse who wants to work with KIDS for leisure institutions
• can coordinate and issue weekly plans and other relevant parent communications on Aula
• sits at the head of professional meetings for FI, ensures relevant agendas, systematic follow-up on previous agreements
• actively participate in the pedagogical activities across the entire opening schedule
• participate in 'Strong Cooperation' at the school four hours a week (morning)
• together with the pedagogical leader, handle scheduling and maintenance of it.

Employment terms

The position is a permanent role of 30-32 hours per week. We expect you can start as soon as possible and no later than January 4, 2027. Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local wage formation. Before employment, references will be obtained as well as an extended child and criminal record check (we check 10 years back).
