Educator for Spilloppen

We are looking for an educator who dares to play, laugh and make a difference!

As one of SpilLoppen's staff members is in happy circumstances and is going to have a baby, while another is just beginning to look toward retirement, we at SpilLoppen are looking for a new colleague – but hope to find a teammate.

At SpilLoppen we are a kindergarten group with about 45 children. We are part of Daycare Nord with a shared area manager. At SpilLoppen there is room to dream, space for big ideas and not least plenty of play, laughter, curiosity and good relationships.

Are you brave enough to join in the play?

We are looking for an educator who dares to join in the play.

We believe that children develop through curiosity, belonging and adults who dare to enter the children's world – even when it gets loud, messy and rainy.

For us, it's not only about seeing the individual child. We are at least as focused on looking at the children as a group.

We are therefore looking for a colleague who wants to be curious about their own practice and together with us develop children's communities where difference is a strength.

We build, explore and play our way to wiser understanding

With us you may have an idea that becomes another idea, which becomes something that perhaps wasn't the plan at all.

We work, among other things, with Mini Maker, where children have the opportunity to explore, construct, create and experiment. Here cardboard boxes, milk cartons, gadgets and doodads suddenly become something completely different – and we adults try to keep up.

Perhaps that is exactly where we spot something important.

You don't need to be an expert in Mini Maker. But we hope you are the type who thinks

We are looking for someone who

• is a qualified educator
• meets the children at eye level
• is skilled at creating safe and attentive relationships
• has an eye for both the individual child and the group of children
• can create calm in chaos – and still keep an overview
• dares to be playful, goofy and a little brave
• can reflect on their own practice and contribute professionally to the community
• wants to be an active part of daily life – even when it involves mud on the trousers
• is not afraid to get dirt under the nails or the smell of a campfire in their hair

About the position

The position is 37 hours per week, but there is the possibility of a lower number of hours by agreement. We aim to have the position filled by 1 January 2027.
