We are seeking a pedagogue for a permanent position in one of our groups with children aged 3-6 years. It is expected, however, that you can work with all children from 0-6 years.

About Peter Aage Gården

Peter Aage Gården is an institution that receives children aged 0–6 years.

Baseline staffing is 110 places, and we have organized ourselves with two groups of children aged 0-3 years, one group with children from about 2.5-3.5 years and two groups with children from about 3-6 years.

The institution is located in Erritsø, close to forest and beach. Peter Aage Gården is part of the District Institution Fjordbakke and Erritsø, which consists of seven municipal institutions and one self-owned institution.

We expect you to have a pedagogical education and to be able to perform the pedagogical task, which with us consists of being the primary educator for about 12 children. You must be able to collaborate with all parents and embrace all children in the institution.

Salary and terms of employment

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

In Fredericia, a local salary supplement, “Fredericia allowance,” is paid to all pedagogues as recognition that inclusive child environments and participation opportunities are a shared responsibility ( SKM_C55824080711490 ).

When employed by Fredericia Municipality references will be sought and a criminal record check will be requested.

Fredericia Municipality obtains child certificates for employees who, as part of their duties, regularly move among children under 15 years and thus have the opportunity to have direct contact with these children.

This is a 37-hour position, but fewer hours are possible.

Your working hours are planned according to the municipality's annual norm agreement with BUPL, which ensures flexibility, time for professional preparation, immersion and transparency in planning of working hours ( mts_02-05-2024_13-23-21.pdf ).

Start date January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
