Educator sought for Dalgasskolen and Dalgasskolen's SFO

Do you have pedagogical expertise, calmness and patience – and do you thrive with both special educational tasks and an active day in a general after-school program (SFO)? Then it might be you we are looking for!

We are seeking an engaged educator for a fixed-term position of 25-32 hours per week with tasks both at Dalgasskolen and at Dalgasskolens SFO. The position runs until 30 June 2027, and the final hours will be agreed with the right candidate.

We seek a colleague who can create safety and good relationships with the children, and who wants to contribute to a day where community, well-being and each child's development are at the center.

A day with two different pedagogical tasks

The position is split between the school and the SFO, where you will have the opportunity to put your pedagogical competences into play in two different environments.

At Dalgasskolen your primary task will be to support a pupil who is connected to the school's base/special offers. Here it is important that you can meet the pupil with calm, patience and understanding of individual needs. You must be able to create safety and structure in the pupil's school day based on the pupil's prerequisites.

We place emphasis on meeting each child with respect and recognition and on creating frameworks that support the child's personal, social and academic development. It is about helping the child develop good strategies and experience success in everyday life.

In Dalgasskolen's SFO you become part of a general SFO environment with many happy children, good activities and a day characterized by structured chaos. Here there is room for play, communities, creativity and movement, and we place a high emphasis on leisure-time pedagogy.

For us, good leisure-time pedagogy includes helping children master everyday situations, participate in communities and develop understanding of themselves and others. The SFO must be a good place to be, where children experience joy, care and opportunities to develop through play and interaction.

Therefore we are seeking a colleague who wants to actively contribute to the children's leisure life and help create a safe, fun and developing everyday life.

• is educated as an educator (that is preferred).
• has experience with the relevant age group.
• is patient, calm and present in your approach to children.
• has understanding of children with special needs and can adapt your pedagogical approach to the individual child.
• thrives with both individual support tasks and the community in a general SFO.
• can maintain overview in an active day with many children and varying needs.
• meets children with respect, care and recognition.
• wishes to participate in a committed community with colleagues and contribute to a good pedagogical collaboration.

We emphasize that you can navigate between the different tasks in the position and meet the children with curiosity, respect and an appreciative approach.

Practical information

Workplace: Dalgasskolen and Dalgasskolens SFO.

Employment: Fixed-term position until and including 30 June 2027.

Working hours: 25-32 hours per week. The final hourly amount will be agreed with the right candidate.

Start: As soon as possible.
