About the job

We are looking for a kindergarten class leader/ educator 37 hours per week in a permanent position. You will become part of Team 0, which consists of 7 people. This school year we have 3 kindergartens. The rest of the lower school is two-tracked.

In the school part, your tasks will be to exercise good classroom management and teach in a playful and varied way in all 3 classes. At the same time, you must help ensure that you reach around all students in the year group and that all students succeed in being part of the community, both socially and academically.

There will also be some child time in the SFO where you are part of the children’s whole day. Your tasks include planning and carrying out activities, being around the children in free play, playing with and supporting the relationships and guiding in conflict resolution.

We expect of you that you

• Are a trained educator, ideally with experience in teaching in kindergarten.
• Are pedagogically strong and a competent and clear class leader who works purposefully with structure and scaffolding.
• Are relationally strong and a present, warm and clear adult that the students can sense want them.
• Are focused on how the students from the start of school are motivated to learn in different ways.
• Are eager to continue playing and see the value in following the students’ traces.

Are keen and interested in contributing to developing learning in a playful way through Playful Learning and the use of design processes.

• Are keen to collabor ate with the team around Co-teaching, which is a school development area.
• Are driven by collaboration and see your colleagues as a necessity to develop yourself and succeed with your shared core task. You will join a year group team consisting of educators and a kindergarten class leader and in an SFO team consisting of educators.
• Meet children, colleagues and parents with a smile and see parents as the most important co-players in relation to students’ success.

Bredagerskolen is one of Vejle Municipality’s large public schools and has a long tradition of pedagogical development.

• We offer teaching at all grade levels from 0 to 9. We are departmentally organized and have a strongly anchored team collaboration structure.

Employment terms

37 hours per week in a permanent position. We work from a yearly norm. Salary according to New Pay and applicable collective agreements. We will discuss this at the interview.
