Social care professional sought for Bofællesskaberne Grundtvigsvej Ikast

The position is a permanent full-time role of 30-37 hours per week, preferably starting 1 December or as soon as possible.

Bofællesskaberne Grundtvigsvej is a residential facility for adults with permanent mental/physical functional impairment with room for 22 residents. The residents live in their own apartments, which are part of the community home. In the common areas, residents can meet for social interaction and meals if they wish. The residents at Grundtvigsvej are currently aged 25-70 years. All are independent and capable in need of support as required. Bofællesskaberne Grundtvigsvej is part of Center for Developmental Disabilities Nord (CFU Nord).

In daily life, residents either work in their activity programs or sheltered employment, or have a home day where they practice skills in their own home. Several residents are also active in the town's association life, either as players, spectators or as volunteers.

We are 9 permanent staff, of which 7 are pedagogues and 2 are social and health care assistants. The team is composed of staff who have been here for a shorter time and some who have been here for many years. We are seeking a pedagogical colleague who is passionate about being with and supporting our residents, with self-determination in focus. You will work with housing support for the residents, including assistance with daily tasks such as budgeting, structure, hygiene, health, social skills, etc.

We are currently implementing various initiatives, including changes in the work schedule, greater focus on the health care duties and the formation of new teams. A new team leader will also be employed from 1 December.

Therefore we are looking for a colleague who is eager to engage in the cooperation around these processes with calm, curiosity and commitment.

Furthermore, you will work with the social work results documentation in CURA, both daily and for follow-up meetings.

There will be day, evening and weekend shifts (every 3rd weekend).
