Our view of children is rooted in systemic thinking, where the importance of relationships is a central driving force. Based on the Strengthened Curriculum, we work professionally with the whole circles around the child, the safety circle and the resilience circle. We work with a shared quality understanding where we dive into the themes Relationships and interaction, Play and activities, Learning environments and organizing, as well as the evaluation culture.

We have development-oriented and reflective leadership, which focuses on professional processes with time for sparring, reflection and evaluation. The leadership actively participates in the house's internal meetings, and contributes with engagement in the professional dialogues.

In Børnehuset Espelunden we are organized with a leader, a deputy head and two department heads with a fixed base in the house.

In our work to create high-quality day-care we have a close and trusting collaboration with the City of Rødovre's Baby Team, with whom we spar in our pedagogical practice. Likewise, we have a close collaboration with our attached pedagogical consultant, the Children's and Family Department and the health visitor.

Børnehuset Espelunden is a large day-care institution normed for 72 toddlers and 120 kindergarten children.

We are seeking pedagogues for our kindergarten 32-37 hours with start on 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
