We are seeking two trained pedagogues for 37 hours for our SFO and school with expected start on January 1, 2027.

As SFO leader I want to create a culture where professionalism, community and a clear direction go hand in hand. We should be ambitious on behalf of the children and at the same time be a workplace where we take good care of each other as colleagues. I believe we succeed best when we take responsibility together, dare to develop our practice, and meet both children and each other with respect, good humor and warmth.

Who are we?

Lindehøjskolen is centrally located in Herlev Municipality and has about 900 pupils from 0th–9th grade and around 120 staff. Our SFO houses about 330 children from 0th–3rd grade and a staff group of around 24 employees.

We believe that the best childhoods are created in strong communities where both children and adults feel seen, heard and valued. In recent times we have worked purposefully to develop a clearer structure and a stronger shared professional culture in our SFO. Today we are organized into two departments, A/B and C/D, which together form one unified SFO with a common pedagogical direction, where there is room for the different children's groups' needs and the staff's competencies.

We have organized our pedagogical work into three activity teams across the departments

• Movement: Where play, motor skills, joy of movement and community are central.
• Creativity: Where creativity, imagination and creative processes have space.
• Nature & Outdoors: Where children have the opportunity to explore, experiment and develop through experiences in nature and outdoor spaces.

Our activity teams help ensure a varied and inspiring leisure-time offer, where the staff's different interests and professional competencies are actively brought into play.

We also work with clear pedagogical functions and adult roles that should ensure presence, overview and support for the children's participation in the communities. For us, structure is not a contradiction to creativity and spontaneity. On the contrary, we believe that clear frameworks create freedom to develop good pedagogy.

Professionalism, collaboration and development

We want a workplace where pedagogical reflection and shared responsibility are a natural part of daily life. Therefore we have established a meeting structure with joint staff meetings, department meetings, year-team and activity teams. The different meeting forums each have their purpose. We work with both joint pedagogical development, coordination of everyday life, children's well-being and participation opportunities as well as planning and development of activities.

As an employee you will become an active part of this structure, and we expect you to contribute with your perspectives, your professionalism and your ideas.

We are an SFO in development, and we are not finished finding the best solutions. Therefore we need colleagues who can work within common frameworks and who have the courage to challenge and develop our practice further.

The whole child all day

As a pedagogue at Lindehøjskolen you will be an important part of both school and SFO life. We work from an understanding that children's well-being, learning and development must be seen in the context across the entire day.

Therefore we prioritize close and equal collaboration between pedagogues, teachers and kindergarten class leaders. We believe that our different professionalities strengthen each other, and that through shared responsibility we create the best conditions for children's development, well-being and participation in the communities.

To support the cross-professional collaboration we have scheduled fixed class team meetings with room for joint planning, professional reflection and coordination around the children's total school and SFO day.

Whether you are newly qualified or experienced, is not the most important. Salary and employment

Salary is determined according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of Ny løn. A child and criminal record check will be obtained for employees who are hired at the schools in Herlev Municipality.

Herlev Municipality has smoke-free working hours.

About Herlev
