About us

The Establishment Partner Element Skrydstrup delivers and develops the physical framework for the military operative units and the other authorities under the Ministry of Defence. This includes everything from maintenance of buildings and areas, sleeping quarters for the soldiers, desks for offices, meals in the canteens, and cleaning.

The Establishment- and Terrain Command has its headquarters in Hjørring but has staff at service locations across the country.

We deliver and develop the physical framework for the military operative units and the other authorities under the Ministry of Defence. We ensure heating and water, perform building maintenance and minor repairs, operate on our firing and training ranges, and much, much more.

Many of the tasks are carried out by our 28 establishment partner elements, distributed at the largest service locations across the country. Here, everything from user inquiries and procurement to event support and building maintenance is handled.

In the past, many of these tasks were performed by an external supplier, but we have brought several tasks in-house to better support everyday life in the Defence and the operational needs.

Therefore, in recent years we have welcomed many new colleagues, all of whom will help create better physical conditions across the Defence. It is a major change, and it will be a busy and exciting period. About the position

We are currently 60 employees working in different teams. You will become one of Establishment Partner Element Skrydstrup’s local representatives and a point of contact for users. As you get to know the area, you will be able to deliver targeted and efficient property services.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Grounds maintenance tasks, such as mowing lawns, hedge trimming, etc.
• Pest control
• Handyman tasks
• Relocation tasks
• Waste management
• Supervision of external craftsmen

You assist in receiving goods and check the completion of ordered operations and maintenance tasks. You perform supervision of contractors’ work and participate in supervision, inspections and quality assurance.

About you

We prefer that you have a background as a facilities service technician. This is not a requirement, though. You may instead have a background as a facilities service technician or other relevant field.

You have experience with grounds maintenance, are meticulous and have respect for the demands of grounds maintenance at an operational air station.

You enjoy outdoor work and are not deterred by the variable Danish weather. At an air station, we also mow in rain.

You have hands that are capable and can perform light daily maintenance of our equipment.

You will mainly work with grounds maintenance, but will also be part of the team with handyman tasks and supervision tasks as needed.

You are familiar with IT tools, such as email systems and the Office suite, and you communicate well in Danish both in writing and speech. You have a friendly approach and can adapt to different situations.

As a person, you are primarily a good colleague who values good collaboration with your colleagues and contributes to the community and is team-oriented.

You can work independently and have a strong service mindset. You are also motivated and aim to find efficient solutions to tasks.

It is a requirement that you hold a driver's license (category B).

Employment conditions

The employment is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organisation – The State Sector (OAO-S collective agreement) and the Agreement for cleaners, sanit technicians, semi-skilled workers and certain trained specialists in the state etc. (3F).

The base salary for a trained facilities service technician is 28,911.92 DKK per month. If you are unskilled, the employment is as a semi-skilled worker with a base salary of 26,228.00 DKK per month.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is opportunity for negotiated allowances. The position is tied to an employer-financed pension scheme.

The work location is in Vojens.

As an employee within the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to certain special terms. You must, among other things, be able to obtain and maintain security clearance throughout the employment.

You have as an employee the duty to perform service outside the country, including at units in international operations with a view to participation in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peace enforcement, humanitarian and other similar operations.
