Facilities Service Technician for the Establishment and Terrain Command at Nyholm

About us

The Establishment- and Terrain Command is a dynamic organization with many different task areas. We deliver and develop the physical frameworks for the military operational units and the other authorities under the Ministry of Defence. We have employees at service locations across the country, and our headquarters is located in Hjørring.

The establishment partner element at Nyholm, located in Copenhagen, is the users’ primary entry point for requesting services from the Establishment- and Terrain Command.

About the position

As an facilities service technician, you will participate in the collaboration to manage the operation of the Defence’s establishments, such as waste management, light maintenance, moving tasks and ad hoc tasks. Working hours will predominantly be from 08:00 to 15:24 on all weekdays.

We offer the necessary training and professional sparring so you can ensure good relations and professionalism in the area through a good onboarding process.

About you

We imagine that you have a background as a facilities service technician or experience from a similar position.

As a person you are a good colleague who values good cooperation with your colleagues.

• You can collaborate across disciplines and at the same time have the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• You communicate well in Danish both in writing and orally, and you have good situational awareness.
• You gain energy and motivation from having outward contact with many different people and tasks every day.

It is a requirement that you have a driving licence for a passenger car.

Employment terms

The employment is governed by the applicable Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Public Sector Area (OAO-S collective agreement) and the Catering, Cleaning, Sanitation, Labourers and certain trained professionals collective agreement in the state, etc. (3F).

If you have an education as a facilities service technician, the basic salary will be 28,911.92 DKK per month. If you are unskilled, the basic salary as a general worker will be 26,228.00 DKK per month

Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is a possibility for negotiation of allowances. There is an employer-funded pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is in Copenhagen at Nyholm.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to certain special terms. You must, among other things, be able to obtain a security clearance and maintain the security clearance during the entire employment.

You have as an employee a duty to perform service outside the country, including at units in international operations with a view to participation in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian and other similar operations.

The Establishment- and Terrain Command (ETK) supports and services military and civilian authorities under the Ministry of Defence. Our task is to deliver and develop attractive physical frameworks that are necessary for their daily operations.

We build new, maintain, operate canteens and clean at service locations across the country.
