At the Department of Labor Market and Citizen Service in Nyborg Municipality we are looking for a job broker who is passionate about getting people into work. Not an case handler who primarily holds meetings and administers rules – but an employee who sees opportunities, builds relationships with companies and is motivated by more citizens working regular hours.

We are in the middle of the largest reform of the employment area in many years. In Nyborg we do not wait for the reform – we are testing it already. We work with pilot actions, challenge established workflows and develop new methods that create better results for both citizens and businesses.

With us you will therefore not be part of a job center as it usually is. You will be part of the team that helps shape the new one.

Your most important goal

Your success is not measured by the number of interviews held or cases closed.

It is measured by how many citizens you help into work.

You will work with unemployed and social welfare recipients who are job-ready and have one clear focus: to create the quickest and best path to permanent employment. This means you think companies before meeting rooms, opportunities before limitations, and action before process.

Your tasks

You will among other things

• help citizens quickly move into ordinary work
• match companies and jobseekers with a focus on concrete job openings
• work closely with company consultants on recruitment
• apply company internships, wage subsidies and other business-oriented tools aimed at ordinary hours
• positively challenge citizens and build belief in their own possibilities
• pilot new working methods as part of our reform work
• participate in continuously developing workflows and organization.

You do not need to have many years of experience from a job center. Instead we expect you to:

• believe that most people can and want to work
• be motivated by achieving concrete results
• translate legislation into solutions rather than restrictions
• be curious and dare to challenge the way we usually do things.
• work independently and take responsibility
• be a strong relationship builder for both citizens and companies.
• have an eye for the needs and opportunities of the labor market.

Experience from the employment area is an advantage, but experience that can be brought into play for the core task is the most important.

Additional information

We are talking about a full-time position in an event-based appointment as a maternity leave substitution to be filled by January 1, 2027.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local salary formation.

The expected salary level will be disclosed before any interview and is determined on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria, including education, experience, competencies and the position’s responsibilities.
