We are seeking an engaged and professionally strong nurse for a permanent position in day shift without weekend shifts , with start as soon as possible. The position is 30-37 hours per week after agreement. You will share shifts on public holiday mornings with your nursing colleague.

About Engparken

Engparken is a modern care center in Brande with 47 residents, bright surroundings and a focus on the good everyday life. We have an active day program and strong support from volunteers. Our approach is based on Tom Kitwood's theory of person-centered care, where the resident's life story and needs are central. We work interdisciplinary and rehabilitative to support residents' quality of life, self-determination, and independence.

Your role as a nurse

As a nurse at Engparken you will become a central part of everyday life and the interdisciplinary collaboration. You work closely with social and health care assistants, helpers, substitutes, occupational therapist, kitchen staff, your nursing colleagues and management – as well as residents and their relatives.

Your function includes the four classic nursing functions

• To perform nursing
• To plan and lead nursing
• To communicate nursing
• To develop nursing

Key tasks

• Participate in care – especially in complex, acute or (late) terminal courses
• Hold relocation interviews and be active during the first weekdays after the resident's move-in
• Ensure annual outreach visits, including medication review, medical history, blood pressure, etc.
• Update documentation in Cura and ensure compliance with applicable guidelines and instructions
• Quality assure practices in collaboration with contact persons and other staff
• Ensure professional communication and training, including delegation and teaching in key areas
• Assess need for own participation in care or coordination with other staff

Ensure communication to the manager about e.g. deaths, moves in/out, hospitalizations, etc

Conditions and requirements

It is a condition of employment that a satisfactory private criminal record can be presented.

Working hours may occasionally be scheduled in early morning hours or late afternoon hours, e.g., in connection with training of evening and night shifts.
