Are you our new mathematics teacher and physics/chemistry teacher at Strøbyskolen (re-advertisement)?

We need an engaged mathematics and physics/chemistry teacher for our upper-school department.

Strøbyskolen is located on Stevns, south of Køge. We have nature and a beach in our surroundings, which gives us the opportunity to move teaching outside the school. We are a three-track school from kindergarten to 9th grade, and we currently have just under 700 pupils.

We have a special upper-school model, where we focus on the entire year group, and 2-4 times per year mix the students into new classes. This means you must be prepared for a high degree of shared preparation and team collaboration. We work both in year-group and subject teams and place high priority on parallel-teaching. Well-being for both students and staff and the working environment in general are areas we continually focus on.

We expect that you

• are academically strong
• meet the students at eye level
• have high academic expectations for your students, and this can be seen in your teaching
• place job satisfaction and dialogue high on your agenda
• are open to feedback and will take responsibility for a good working environment
• can work closely in teams with colleagues about the students and their learning
• are approachable and will actively participate in collaboration with parents, students, colleagues and management

Employment terms

The position is a full-time position with commencement as soon as possible. Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local wage formation. In connection with the appointment we obtain a child and criminal record and take references.
