About the job

About the job

Are you a trained social- and health care assistant, and are you passionate about making a difference? Do you dream of a workplace with meaning, high professionalism and a strong collegial community? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for!

With us in Vejlby you will become part of a large, well-functioning team where we combine professional pride with good collaboration and workplace joy.

Who are we?

In Care and Rehabilitation Vejlby we work in 3 smaller, geographically divided contact teams. You will become a fixed part of a contact team, where you work closely with skilled colleagues – including SSH, SSA, nurse, occupational therapist and physiotherapist – all with a focus on the citizen's goals and with a rehabilitative and holistic approach. We meet every morning in the contact team, which strengthens both the quality of the citizen’s pathways and the collaboration in daily work.

We work with relational coordination and believe that openness, trust and dialogue create the best framework – for both staff and citizens.

We have a safe and well-functioning working environment, where managers, therapists, nurses and resource coordinators are visible and accessible in daily work.

Who are you?

We are looking for a colleague who

  • Is trained social- and health care assistant
  • Is passionate about their profession and wants to develop it
  • Has an appreciative approach and supports citizens in doing as much as possible themselves
  • Works interdisciplinarily and holistically
  • Is curious, engaged and not afraid to ask questions
  • Is involved in ensuring high quality and citizen safety
  • Thinks in solutions and contributes ideas in everyday work
  • Is a good partner for citizens, relatives and colleagues
  • A driving license is an advantage – it is required that you can cycle, our area is not geographically large, and most of our citizens live door-to-door.

Why you should choose us

  • A strong professional community – we respect and learn from each other’s professions
  • A team with both humor, warmth and room for diversity
  • A place where you can feel new with confidence – we are used to teaching from each other, have a thorough introduction and focus on continued professional development
  • Low staff turnover – with us people tend to stay a little longer
  • A meaningful job, where you help make a difference every day.

We would like to point out that the position lies within the 24-hour coverage area. At present the shifts are expected to be mainly daytime, with weekend shifts every 2nd, 3rd or 4th weekend according to your preference.
