About the job

Do you want to be part of an agency with a crucial societal responsibility and high visibility? Do you want to help develop and support digital workflows that contribute to efficient case processing. Do you thrive in a role with many collaboration interfaces across the country, where you make a noticeable difference for your colleagues?

Then you may be our new colleague in the Directorate Secretariat's ESDH team.

About us

The world is rapidly changing. War in Europe, climate change and hybrid threats place new demands on Denmark's preparedness. In the Danish Emergency Management Agency we work to ensure society's ability to prevent, withstand and handle crises and disasters in close cooperation with national and international partners.

The Danish Emergency Management Agency is undergoing marked development as a result of increased political ambitions in the area. It places great demands on strategic management and system support.

The Directorate Secretariat is a central office for the management and plays a key role in the interaction between the agency and the Ministry of Civil Protection and Emergency Preparedness. We support the management, coordinate cross-cutting tasks, handle cross-cutting legal cases and ensure high quality in cases for the political level. In addition we are responsible for administration of the agency's ESDH system, WorkZone.

About the position

We are looking for a new colleague to the small team in the Directorate Secretariat, who independently supports the entire agency's use of WorkZone.

We are in an exciting development where our case-supporting systems must be rethought in light of organizational changes and new IT possibilities. You will thus have the opportunity to contribute to digital support creating even greater quality, efficiency and coherence in the agency's processes.

As an employee in the WorkZone team you will have a diverse range of tasks, a large contact surface across the entire Danish Emergency Management Agency and the opportunity to influence workflows and develop your competencies. We offer a varied everyday life with development, support, teaching and collaboration. The work takes place in a strong professional environment with good opportunities for flexibility, sparring and professional development – with humor and room to breathe.

Your tasks will be tailored to your competencies and will include, among other things, contributing to:

  • Administration and support of the solutions in WorkZone
  • Teaching and guidance in the use of WorkZone
  • Documentation of case workflows and preparation of manuals
  • Quality assurance and dialogue with the National Archives
  • Coordination, distribution and follow-up on incoming mail to the agency.
  • Implementation of digital case processes

About you

We are looking for a colleague who can quickly and efficiently solve daily operations tasks and at the same time thrive on thinking new and helping to build and develop new solutions, processes and procedures. You thrive in collaboration with many different professional groups and are motivated by supporting users with solutions that make their work easier. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks and approach them in a structured and analytical way when complex problems must be solved.

We would very much like to hear from you if you

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience with ESDH, digital case support or system administration
  • Are systematic, analytical and curious about technical contexts and enjoy control tasks that ensure good data quality
  • Have experience with user support and training in the use of ESDH systems
  • Are service-minded, pedagogical and meet users at eye level
  • Can prioritise between multiple tasks while meeting deadlines, are collaborative and contribute positively to the community.

It is an advantage - but not a requirement - if you have experience with WorkZone, as well as experience with cooperation with the National Archives. In addition it would be an advantage if you have experience from a government agency or a ministry.

Salary and employment terms

The employment is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The State Sector (OAO-S Collective Agreement) and the Organization Agreement for clerks, lab assistants and IT employees in the state (HK).

Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is the possibility of negotiating a supplement. There is an employer-financed pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is at Datavej 16, 3460 Birkerød

As an employee of the Danish Emergency Management Agency you are subject to some special terms. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance for the duration of the employment.
