About the Benefits Team

The Benefits Team consists of a total of 7 employees, including one professional lead. The team works with a wide range of authorities-related tasks within the welfare area and has a strong professional environment where sparring, learning and a common direction are central elements in daily life.

Each employee has their own case file within the areas: cash benefits, pension and individual benefits.

You will become part of a unit with a broad and varied task portfolio. We do not expect you to master all areas from day one. Instead, you will become part of a strong professional community where colleagues each have specialized knowledge within different areas and are ready to support your professional development and training.

We place great emphasis on shared professionalism across the team. This means that we take on tasks together, share knowledge and help each other so that citizens experience a coherent and qualified effort – regardless of who in the team the citizen meets.

You will become an active part of the team’s professional community, where we both expect and support ongoing development and contribution to the shared quality in task solving.

Your tasks

You will among other things work with

• Processing applications for assistance with subsistence and individual benefits
• Follow-up in cases in close cooperation with the job center and other areas
• Supplement calculations, payments and administrative cases
• Processing complaints about decisions
• Case processing across welfare benefits and pension

We ensure thorough onboarding so you can confidently get up to speed in new areas if you do not already know them.

About you

We imagine that you

• Have experience with case processing in one or more benefit areas (e.g., cash assistance, flexible job subsidy, unemployment benefit, individual benefits or pension)
• Can translate legislation into clear and understandable language
• Work systematically, quality-conscious and with an eye for the whole citizen’s case
• Can balance independence with collaboration and contribute positively to the team’s development
• Are eager to participate in a joint multidisciplinary direction, where we learn from each other across areas
• Additionally, it would be an advantage if you have knowledge of KY, KP and SBSYS, but not a requirement

Organizationally, we are part of the job center and anchored as part of Job Service, whose target group is job-ready individuals, unemployment benefit recipients and the flex job area. We work every day together to create the best solutions for citizens. Although we have different areas, we see ourselves as one team with a shared responsibility for the core task.

Terms of employment

The position is 37 hours. Salary and employment follow applicable collective agreement and the principles of new pay.

The position is expected to be filled on January 1, 2027.
