You should be able to take on both authority tasks, the business-oriented work and develop and conduct workshops for the young people with a focus on jobs and education.

About the position

In Job and Health, guidance, authority tasks and the employment-oriented efforts for sickness benefits, job clarification, resource programs, activity-ready and young people are handled.

We have divided our department into 3 teams and we are seeking an employee for Team Youth. In this team Ungeløft, IPS and other tasks related to the work for the youth are handled. We are slowly rebuilding our youth effort and have among other things brought back UU-guides into the department as well as having a business consultant attached with a special focus on the youth. We also work with a real job and education club for the young people and this is where you come in. The hope is that the offering can be expanded further over time.

You will handle your own case load and at the same time help plan teaching and workshops for the young people focusing on jobs and education. You will not have to do it alone, but together with good colleagues and UU-guides.

Physically you will primarily belong to our job house close to the town hall, but you may also expect activities elsewhere just as you are very welcome to be at the town hall from time to time.

As a staff member in Team Youth you will have many interfaces with other departments and partners, therefore it is a prerequisite that you can see the value in working with others and pulling in the same direction.

We plan tasks with a focus on the group's competencies, the department's goals and not least the citizen's journey.

We are looking for a employee who

• Has legal competencies and is familiar with the LAB law
• Is passionate about working with the young
• Can communicate to a group and develop materials themselves
• Has knowledge of the labor market and can see the value in the employment-oriented effort
• Ability to build trust and motivate citizens back to the labor market from an employment- and social-work approach
• Has a view of the citizen's role as actor in their own life and the employer's important role as partner
• Is professionally curious and thrives in a role that together with the rest of the team continuously contributes to development
• Has a natural desire to try new methods and formats
• Understands administrative law and the legal requirements that apply to the area
• Is able to handle complex cases, make decisions and seek help when necessary
• Knowledge of Fasit is a plus

Salary and terms of employment

Full-time position 37 hours per week. Salary and terms of employment according to HK - Danish Social Workers' Association agreement.

Expected start 1 January 2027
