Finance Assistant

Do you want to own the daily operations of the accounting department and be a guarantor of high quality in bookkeeping and accounting? At Generaxion we are seeking a structured and detail-oriented Finance Assistant who will help secure a solid accounting foundation in our Danish organization.

As a Finance Assistant you will become an important part of our finance department, where you contribute to timely and accurate results, create transparency and support the company's development.

Responsibilities

As a Finance Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring correct and timely bookkeeping and reconciliation for the group's Danish companies. Your tasks will among other things include:

• Ongoing posting of revenues and expenses, including correct accounting classification and registration
• Handling payments, bank transactions and bank reconciliation
• Reconciliation of balances in connection with monthly and year-end closing
• Audit and posting of payroll entries
• VAT computations and tax return to the Tax Authority
• Ensure proper voucher handling and reconciliation of internal intercompany balances
• Contribute to automation and optimization of processes

Your profile

We expect that you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in bookkeeping or accounting and are motivated by creating structure and quality in data.

In addition, we would like you to

• Have knowledge of bookkeeping and VAT legislation and the double-entry bookkeeping system
• Have strong Excel skills and knowledge of the Office suite
• Work independently, are detail-oriented and quality-conscious
• Are solution-oriented and thrive in a role with both routine tasks and development assignments
• Speak, write and understand Danish and have a good command of English

Experience with Business Central and tools such as Continia and Pleo is an advantage but not a requirement.
