About the role

As an intern at If you start on 1 September 2027 and complete your internship period by the end of January 2028. During your internship you will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of tasks such as customer inquiries, case handling, advisory services and administrative processes. Your tasks will be tailored to your interests and competencies, so you get the most out of your internship.

At If you will be professionally and personally challenged, and you will have the opportunity to develop in a professional environment. You participate in an induction program on equal terms with our other newly hired employees, which gives you a solid insight into how a large insurance company operates in practice. When you write your internship report, you will have the opportunity to influence your tasks so that they support your chosen topic.

Who are you?

You are currently studying to become a Finance Bachelor, and you will be doing your internship in the 5th semester in the autumn of 2027. You are curious, motivated and ready to translate your theoretical knowledge into practice in the insurance industry.

You thrive with responsibility, take initiative and want to learn new things. You are empathetic, collaborative and communicate clearly – both with colleagues and customers. At the same time you manage to keep an overview in a busy everyday life and contribute with good humor and a positive approach to the tasks.

The recruitment process begins with a recruitment day on 26 November 2026 at our office in Ballerup. Here we invite selected candidates to hear more about If as an internship site and to participate in a personal interview where you have the opportunity to ask questions. It is a requirement that you can attend this day to proceed in the recruitment process.
