FIRMAVIKAR SEEKS PHYSIOTHERAPIST FOR LÆSØ MUNICIPALITY

Are you a qualified physiotherapist and keen to make a difference for citizens through rehabilitation, recovery and health promotion?

FIRMAVIKAR is recruiting on behalf of Læsø Municipality an engaged and independent physiotherapist for a 3-month temporary position with the possibility of subsequent permanent employment.

You will become part of a multidisciplinary team, where you will have a varied workday with a focus on strengthening citizens' functional ability, independence and quality of life.

About the position

You will be working with citizens in their own homes, in nursing homes and within the municipality's rehabilitation and training initiatives.

Your primary tasks will include

• Physiotherapeutic assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.
• Rehabilitation of citizens with various physical and functional challenges.
• Planning and implementation of individual training programs.
• Preventive and health-promoting initiatives.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with care staff, nurses and other health professionals.
• Documentation and follow-up on citizen pathways.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained physiotherapist with Danish authorization.
• Experience with municipal rehabilitation, geriatrics or elderly care is desirable.
• Can work independently and take responsibility for own tasks.
• Is flexible, approachable and good at collaborating.
• Has good communication skills and a focus on citizens' needs.
• Has a driver's license.

Experience from similar positions is an advantage but not a requirement.

Note: The position is physically located on Læsø. It is therefore important that you have the opportunity to reside on the island in connection with the work.
