Foster family for a pair of siblings

Family Foster Care Copenhagen is seeking an approved 24-hour foster family for a sibling pair, an 8-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl.

The 8-year-old boy is described as an inquisitive and well-liked boy. He is caring towards others, and he likes to play football and computer games. He may need support for emotional regulation.

The 10-year-old girl is described as charming with a sense of humor. She wishes to form relationships, and she evokes warmth and care in people around her. She is good at expressing how she feels and actively seeks contact with adults.

Both children need a stable caregiving environment with close adult guidance, closeness, care, predictability and structure. They also need support and a safe environment, as well as support for emotional regulation.

Your home may be the right fit for the two siblings if you can meet the above and create a safe, predictable and caring everyday life.

About you

• You are approved as a foster family.
• You have good teamwork skills.
• You are open to collaboration with the children's biological parents.
• You can live anywhere in the country.
• You may have animals.

You are not alone with the task, as we provide you with pedagogical supervision from a permanently attached foster care consultant with whom you have regular contact. Remuneration

The level of remuneration for the care task is set according to the child's support needs and the expected extent of the foster family's efforts. There is an option to enter into a contract based on a renegotiation or an average model.
